Behind the Stories: A Week of Filming

Room To Care spent this week in Frisco with survivors, cameras rolling and hours of footage captured. Here's where things stand and what comes next.

This week, production on Through Their Eyes moved out of planning and into a living room in Frisco, Texas.

Board member Stan Welch and his family opened their home to our crew without hesitation. That kind of generosity is rare, and we do not take it lightly. Stan and his family created a space that felt warm, quiet, and safe, and is exactly what this kind of work requires. On behalf of everyone at Room To Care, thank you to the Welch Family!

Over the course of the week, we sat down with three trafficking survivors. Roughly five hours of footage. Each conversation was different. Each one mattered.

Production continues. We are still working to schedule several expert contributors, and we are actively looking for a labor trafficking survivor willing to share their experience. If you have a connection that might help, please reach out.

Filming costs money. So does editing, sound design, and everything that comes after the camera stops rolling. If this work is meaningful to you, a donation directly supports the next session.
