Next week, we start filming!

April 28th through May 1st, we'll sit down with the first survivors willing to share their experiences on camera for Through Their Eyes. This has been a long time coming, and we don't take it lightly.

Every person who agrees to be interviewed is trusting us with something that cost them. Any behind-the-scenes photos we share from this first round of filming will protect the identities of the individuals on camera. We want to give each person time to process what they shared before anything goes public, and we want to make sure we have everything in place to do it right when the time comes.

What you will see are glimpses of the process: the set, the work, the weight of what it takes to build something like this the right way.

We're still looking for survivors willing to participate, specifically those with experience in labor trafficking, familial trafficking situations, and digital exploitation from subscription platforms. These are perspectives that don't get enough space in public conversations about human trafficking, and Through Their Eyes won't be complete without them.

We're also still raising the funding to keep filming. Production costs are real, and we're committed to doing this at a standard that respects what survivors are giving us. If you want to help make sure these stories get told, you can contribute at givebutter.com/RoomToCare2026.

Next week is a milestone. We'll keep you posted on how it goes.
